Our memories of outings are captured in photos that we take with our cameras and cell phones. These are normally taken, sometimes saved but only rarely shared with our fellow 4WDC members.
Members are invited to join in this event at the June 2018 Noggin where we will have a photographer at hand to improve our photography skills, inform us of the techniques for taking striking and interesting photos, including a discussion of photos presented by members. It is not intended to be a brand discussion or debate, but rather a session to look at improving the enjoyment of taking good photos. Afterwards we will have a communal bite to eat sponsored by the Club. Please bring along your own drinks (e.g. alcoholic beverages, cool drinks, etc).
Members are requested to bring along 5 of their selected photos in JPG format on a flash drive that were taken during outings, falling into one of the following categories:
– 4×4 action
– Camping (cooking, braaing, etc)
– Nature / Scenic
At the Noggin, members who attended or led outings, are welcome to provide feedback on the outing. Information that is available on planned outings will also be presented.
The program for the noggin will basically cover the following:
– Arrival and welcome
– Presentation by photographer
– Presentation of photos by members
– Discussion and Q&A
– Feedback on past and future outings and events
– Light snack
We will be catering for a meal, so RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org indicating your name and number of attendees by latest 15 May 2018.
Feel free to bring along friends and neighbours who may be interested in joining our Club.
