February 2019 Noggin – Technical and ORRU @ Black Pearl Winery
Feb 2 @ 14:00 – Feb 3 @ 12:00

Join your fellow club members for a Noggin with a difference.

We have decided to host a Technical Noggin combined with an information session about ORRU at Black Pearl.

We meet on the Saturday instead of the regular Friday, with the option of a sleep over till Sunday.

The afternoon will be spent discussing and demonstrating some typical 4X4 stuff.   This may include tyre puncture repairs (we all have these kits, but don’t necessarily know how to use them), practical recovery and winching (we may not all have a winch fitted but may at some stage be glad to be helped out of a spot by someone who has). And more.

The Off-Road Rescue Unit (ORRU) is an important part of our club. We will hear what it is all about, how it is integrated within WSAR (Wilderness Search and Rescue) and how we as members can get involved.

DATE: Saturday, 2 February 2019, camping overnight till Sunday
